Volunteer Opportunities

A strong football program is more than what happens on the field, it’s a reflection of the community behind it. When families show up, support one another, and contribute their time and talents, it elevates the entire program. We have a variety of volunteer opportunities to fit different schedules and strengths, all outlined below. We are also actively looking for leaders in key areas to help guide and grow these efforts. Your support makes the difference join us in building a program we can all be proud of.

Volunteer Requirements

Each family is required to volunteer for two games during the season, ideally when their player is not playing. To help balance coverage between the teams.
In addition, each player is required to volunteer for two quarters of a game (not necessarily consecutive), during a game in which they are not playing.
Lastly, Each family is required to support one team dinner, PBJs, or player snack bags during the season. This is a simple but meaningful way to contribute and ensure our players are fueled and ready to perform.

Your participation helps ensure these important team experiences continue.

Concessions

Our concession stand is one of the most important ways we support the football program and is open during C Team, JV, and Varsity games. It takes a coordinated team effort to keep everything running smoothly. Volunteer roles include stocking and pre-game setup, sales and closing.

Concessions are a critical fundraiser for our program—your time and effort directly impact the experience and opportunities we’re able to provide for our players.

Player Snack Bags

Player snack bags are prepared on designated game days and provide our athletes with a quick, reliable source of fuel. Each bag typically includes a PB&J sandwich, a drink, and additional snacks, with most supplies donated by families at the beginning of the season.

Volunteers are responsible for assembling the bags and preparing the PB&J sandwiches, with all ingredients and materials provided.

Communications

Our social media presence is an opportunity to showcase our players, celebrate successes, and build excitement around the program—but we need a team to make it happen. We are looking for volunteers to help with regular posting, content creation, and game-day updates.

This is a great way to contribute behind the scenes and help tell the story of our program. We are especially looking for individuals who can help bring consistency and creativity to our online presence.

Ram Dads

Ram Dads play a key role in supporting game day operations and helping bring energy and tradition to our program. From running the Ram head and air horn, to hanging banners, working the chain gang, and stepping in wherever support is needed, this group helps ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

This is a hands-on, high-impact way to be involved and directly support the team on game days. We are also looking for strong leadership within this group to help organize and coordinate efforts throughout the season.

Team Dinners

Team dinners are held at the school the night before games and are a great way to fuel our athletes while building connection and team chemistry across all levels of the program.

We rely on parent support to make these dinners happen, including providing entrees, sides, and helping serve. This effort benefits every team and creates an environment where players can come together, connect, and prepare for game day.

Fireworks

The Fireworks crew helps bring excitement to every varsity home game with lighting the excitement from the moment the rams take the field to the very last down. This team assists with the safe setup, coordination, and execution of the fireworks display in partnership with the fire department. Volunteers help ensure all safety guidelines are followed and that permits are in place each season. It’s a high-impact role that adds energy, pride, and a memorable experience for our players and fans

Banquet

The end-of-season banquet is a special event that celebrates our players, coaches, and program. We are looking for volunteers to assist with planning, setup, coordination, and tear down, along with end of season gifts.

This is a great opportunity to be part of recognizing the hard work and accomplishments of the season while helping create a memorable experience for our athletes and families.

Golf Tournament

Our golf tournament is one of our largest fundraising events and plays a critical role in supporting the program. We need volunteers to assist with player bags, securing sponsorships, and day-of event support.

This effort directly impacts the resources available to our players. We are also looking for individuals willing to take on leadership roles to help organize and grow this event year over year.
